Have fun with this pretty powder pink manual biscuit machine.
A biscuit extruder that makes shaped butter biscuits by pushing the dough through a die. This cookie press comes with 20 different dies and can be set to give two different sizes of biscuit.
One full cylinder of dough will provide enough for 20-25 large or 35-40 small biscuits.
To use:
- First, make the dough (Marcato have provided the recipe in the instruction manual).
- Unscrew the bottom part and fill the chamber with the dough. If the plunger doesn't move, twist it slightly.
- Choose your die (shape) and insert into the unscrewed bottom piece.
- Screw on the bottom portion once the chamber has been filled with dough.
- To adjust the size of the final biscuit, change the portion under the handle to position 1 for small and 2 for larger cookies.
- The press comes with a separate handle extender in case you find it difficult to extrude the dough through the die. To use the extender, push into the handle on the machine, orientating it so that the straight part is facing upwards.
