Decadent, soft, chewy nougat studded with irresistible chocolate, nuts, biscuit and fruit.

The original 'sofficiona' nougat cake was born in 1990, created by Quaranta. An enchanting display of 20 slices individually wrapped to form the cake.

In the chocolate assortment choose from four flavours:

  • Mixed Chocolate - Chocolate, cocoa nibs, almonds and hazelnuts
  • Chocolate Creme - Chocolate creme filling with almond and hazelnuts
  • Chocolate Orange - Chocolate, candied orange peel, almonds and hazelnuts
  • Amaretti biscuit - Amaretti biscuits, almonds and hazelnuts

Since 1924, the Quaranta family have been making their delectable nougat for the world, reimagining and enhancing it through the years. They are based in Caravaggio, Bergamo, near Milan.

Ingredients 

Soft Nougat with mixed chocolate (15%)

Sugar, glucose syrup, honey, almonds, hazelnuts, cocoa mass, corn starch, cocoa nibs, cocoa powder, cocoa butter, egg white, potato starch, milk powder, fat reduced cocoa powder, natural flavouring, water, emulsifier: lecithins(soy, sunflower), vanilla extract.

May contain other traces of tree nuts, peanuts and sesame seeds. 

Soft Nougat with chocolate creme filling (11%)

Sugar, glucose syrup, almonds, hazelnuts, honey, corn starch, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, egg white, potato starch, coconut oil, fat reduced cocoa powder, natural flavouring, water, emulsifier: soy lecithins.

May contain traces of other nuts, peanuts, milk and sesame seeds. 

Soft Nougat with Orange peels (12%) and dark chocolate (2%)

Sugar, glucose syrup, honey, almonds, hazelnuts, orange peels, corn starch, cocoa nibs, glucose-fructose syrup, egg white, cocoa mass, potato starch, coconut oil, dextrose, cocoa butter, fat reduced cocoa powder, water, emulsifier: soy lecithins, natural flavourings, acidity regulator: citric acid.

May contain traces of other nuts, peanuts, milk, soy and sesame seeds. 

Soft Nougat with amaretti biscuits (9%) 

Sugar, glucose syrup, almonds, honey, hazelnuts, corn starch, egg white, apricot kernels, potato starch, natural flavourings, water, raising agents: sodium carbonates, ammonium carbonates.

May contain traces of other nuts, peanuts, milk, soy and sesame seeds. 

Minimum shelf life of 3 months unless indicated otherwise.

Each item is scrutinised before being sent. We only send items that reach our quality standards. Wooden items, such as handles, might feel a bit rough from the manufacturer. Our team in the UK hand sand some of these items to make sure the item is at its best.

We hand wrap delicate items before sending them to you to ensure they are protected and reach you in perfect condition. We don't believe in excessive packaging and believe the tools speak for themselves.

We hope to do our bit for the environment and reduce plastic waste. Most of our packaging is paper based and is non-laminated, which can be easily recycled or composted at home.

We aim to reuse materials and packaging where possible and this is usually the only plastic you will find in your parcel. This plastic protection can also be recycled.
